SOUNDS LIKE A PARTY
A Collaborative Performance Installation of “People Doing” put Together by Deena OH

Join us through this rope maze. You will enter different cubes where someone will be doing something. In each cube only one activity will be happening. There will be only one exception: Deena will be doing four things. The only people you cannot talk to are the readers. Otherwise, feel free to speak to the performers. Depending, they will speak with you too. You are highly encouraged to talk to Jason and Allison.

~~~ I would like to get my hands on a ultrasound machine for a sound project. When I had my blood clot they had to do a lot of ultrasound work, and I am fascinated by the sounds that our own body makes. The sounds of my blood. It will probably become part of a larger installation dealing with the strange medical situations I have experienced.

~~~ I would like to do a video project called “Austin Cribs” where I interview various peers in their modest yet imaginative dwelling places. This would be super fun! I know so many awesome, creative, and fascinating individuals whose homes reflect that.

~~~ I would like to do a video project called “Situations” where I do what I often do: burst out in random song or dance in the middle of a crowded grocery street, bank, airport, etc. Looking for people who are good at capturing reaction shots on the fly.
